the jacuzzi bath was a true letdown, no shower bracket to hold the showerhead and it took forever to fill. i mean, you've got a spa but no one bothered to tell me it wasn't available during my stay. if only i’d gotten the red carpet treatment i was hoping for, i almost gave this place a good review, but just couldn’t.

The expansive and luxurious rooms not only offer ample space but also fine views of the river. Dining at the hotel reflects really good local cuisine with generous seafood starters that highlight the region's flavors. I loved indulging in the complimentary spa facilities, which provided a relaxing oasis after a day of exploring.

I initially came for one night but fell in love with the peaceful atmosphere and stunning view of the water and castle, while also enjoying easy access to natural parks and breathtaking spots like the Mirador de Monteagudo, just a short walk away.

Loved the stunning views, but the bathroom needed some updates.

The lack of a separate shower instead of a shower-in-bath unit left much to be desired!!! The walk into town for better dining options at 3 km was a bit of a trek!!!

I stayed in a lovely superior double room. It was spacious with a large bed and attractive décor. The view of the garden was peaceful, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Had an amazing breakfast included in my stay. The massage service was reasonably priced and quite good. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing experience.

It was just a good match for a transient visit in Soto Del Barco with extraordinarily good value for money. The dinner was a highlight, impressively priced and accompanied by a lovely bottle of Rioja. Make sure to check for table availability in advance.

The staff were helpful and nice, they made us feel welcome right away. The place is full of light and the atmosphere really allowed me to unwind after a long week.

the air conditioner in our room didn’t work. but the spa was really nice with three areas to relax. and the breakfast had freshly squeezed orange juice. plus the views of the river are beautiful.

The atmosphere of this hotel truly reflects its historical charm. Nestled away from the bustle, the views of the river below are stunning. While the carpets seem a bit aged, the spacious rooms and excellent restaurant more than make up for it. A delightful stay overall!
